UBfree’s patented formula uses all natural ingredients to oxidise the wine, effectively neutralising the free sulphites - just like when you cellar and age a wine over time.
In 2014, the UBfree formula was created and vigorously tested and refined at the world-class New Zealand Cawthron Institute overseen by an award winning food scientist. In the final stages of product refinement UBfree was put before an Oenologist (specialist in wine making) for tasting who made the following comments “It’s like you have taken an old flabby wine and made it young again. The taste is brighter, fresher and the tannins have become smoother… the fruit notes have become more dominant”. UBfree had discovered a way to instantly cellar young wine.
